SFEMA 2.0

Welcome to SFEMA 2.0 SFEMA was originally started for the proliferation of live electronic music. We took a break from that and got back into production. So now we are relaunching SFEMA with more of a focus on hosting music, videos and not so much about organizing parties. All the SFEMA sets are still archived here SFEMA 1.0M

The Bernal Heights EP.

  • Release: April 18, 2012
Here it is, after 3 years of sitting on my harddrive, I am pleased to release The Bernal Heights EP. The Bernal Heights EP contains some of the very first Chocolate Penthouse Songs. Julian and I would spend a good part of our practice walking around Bernal Heights, we would explore the many staircases, gardens, and spectacular views. The music is noisy and quirky, we had always wanted to play dance music, but neither of us had a dance music background. However, we like synths and distortion, so those two things together became the cornerstone of our songs.

The Bernal Heights EP reflects the energies of Bernal Heights, the neighborhood where Chocolate Penthouse lived while recording this album.

Passions from Prana

  • Release: March 20, 2012

The most recent journey is told by that of Mister Trikonasana and his Passions from Prana. Passions from Prana is the journal of one man's journey into the New Age. Originally Mister Trikonasana had started scoring music to accompany Yoga sequences, however while exploring the yoga community Mister Trikonasana was introduced to many other fascinating concepts like energy healing, astral travel, and the quest for a higher self. Mister Trikonasana traveled to energy vortexes like Mount Shasta and Sedona to meditate and meet with gurus, energy healers, musicians, and yogis. Originally for live performance only, Passions from Prana was met with such praise that Mister Trikonasana had no choice but to distill it into a digital release for the world.

Passions from Prana was recorded at Studio Strangus in San Francisco, California. www.strangus.com
Passions from Prana was mastered by Brett Crockett. brettcrockettaudio.com
Video Game Sequence in Beyond the Vibrational State sampled from Evan Morris.
